Road Lighting and public signalling
Since its inception, POLTRAFIC LIGHT S.L. has dedicated most of its activity to the manufacture of products intended for road signs, such as traffic light posts and public lighting columns. All of them made in reinforced polyester with Glass Fiber (PRFV).
THIS RANGE OF PRODUCTS HAS A WIDE RANGE OF ADVANTAGES OVER TRADITIONAL METALLIC ONES:
- Total electrical insulation: The high dielectric rigidity of the material, greater than 300,000 V per mm. thick, prevents absolutely any current step.
- Easy assembly and maintenance: Its lightness (five times lighter than steel) allows easy assembly and without the need for cranes. Its anti-corrosive material makes the maintenance practically null.
- Economy: Thanks to its isolation, the need to have dirt lines is eliminated, representing a great saving in the work, which together with its low maintenance, drastically reduces its costs.
- Security: Its non-rigid material provides greater impact absorption. In total, a 40% improvement in passive safety.
- Resistance: Very resistant are able to withstand winds of 200 km/h without breaking with a safety factor of more than 4*. The material itself and the outer coating with polyurethane lacquers provide more resistance to atmospheric agents.
All these characteristics make these columns the ideal product for lighting parks and gardens, promenades, golf courses, without forgetting, lighting streets, squares and avenues. In traffic light columns, they provide greater reliability in regulation, and therefore greater road safety.
